The
Barrington Illinois Relay For
Life is part of the American Cancer Society's nationwide
signature event involving two million participants in
3,300 communities in the U.S.
A quarter million cancer
survivors participate in the opening laps representing
hope that we will someday soon find a cure. The Relay
For Life is the largest non-profit fundraising event in
the nation.
Barrington Relay For
Life is a community based event designed to honor
loved ones, celebrate survivorship and raise money for
the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life is about an
entire community taking up the fight to raise money to
find a cure for cancer.
While the Relay is in progress,
team members enjoy the entertainment, food, games and
camaraderie that create a festive community atmosphere.
