The Relay For Life Marketshare award is given to the community
event that has the top ranking in the following categories:
per capita income, number of survivors, number of Picture a
Cure submissions and average team revenue. The Relay For Life
of Barrington started in 1998 and is held at Barrington High
School. The relay has generated over $2.3 Million in its 7
year lifetime, and its per capita average is the best in the
state at $15.60. The strength and commitment of the each team
is crucial to the Relay’s success and they average over $2,800
per team.

The Heart of Relay is awarded to individual events that have

Illinois Division. Illinois Division picks 2-3 nominations per
category to send on to the National Level for award
