         Prohibited at Relay

         • Alcohol is prohibited at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, as are smoking and
           tobacco use
         • Bicycles, roller blades, strollers and wagons are allowed at some Relay For Life events,
           check with your local event for details
         • Pets and animals maybe prohibited, check with local Relay event; service dogs are
           allowed at all events

         Additional recommendations

         • Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing that can be layered, and bring a sweatshirt or
           jacket for cool evenings
         • Wear sturdy but comfortable shoes designed for walking or running
         • Bring sunscreen
         • Wear a hat to protect you from the sun
         • Bring bug spray

        Make your campsite original

         Your participation makes Relay fun for everyone! Be
         creative by having a theme for your team. Below are
         suggestions for a team theme:

         • Scrubbing out a cure for cancer — hang a clothesline and have metal wash buckets
         • Woodstock theme — hang peace signs, wear tie-dye shirts and braid hair for donations
            to ACS
         • Fiesta theme — hang a piñata and an inflatable chili pepper, play Salsa music and offer
           Salsa lessons for a donation to ACS
         • Island theme — wear grass skirts and leis, or a Hawaiian print shirt and sunglasses,
           bring an inflatable palm tree
         • Fishing for a Cure — bring an inflatable boat, fishing rods and hang plastic or paper fish
           from your tent
         • Golfing theme — bring golf balls and clubs and ‘putt’ around your campsite, give prizes
           from the Relay store for longest putt, fanciest putt, etc
         • Rodeo Relay — have everyone in the team wear a cowboy hat and red bandana, bring
           inflatable cows and decorate your tent like a barn, play Country music
         • Picture a Cancer-Free World — hang a solid bed sheet as a back drop and offer to take
           Polaroid pictures of Relayers for a donation to ACS, bring extra film
